THE BEATLES

Four Liverpool lads from the 1960’s came together and left their mark on the musical landscape. John, George, Paul, and Ringo gave us love and talent and, with a little help from their friend George Martin, left us with a catalogue with a wide range of styles, ever shifting and enduring since the days of Beatlemania.

MARY POPPINS

DR. DOLITTLE (1967)

Note: Some editions of this film have an Overture. Skip this section and start after the 20th Century Fox logo has faded.

SNOW WHITE and the Seven Dwarfs

Band: The Beatles
Album: The White Album
Discovered: Andrew C. Wendland
July 2003

Note: Skip tracks 14-17 (“Why Don’t We Do It In the Road?” - “Julia”) on the first disc.

CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG

Band: The Beatles
Album: Yellow Submarine
Discovered: Andrew C. Wendland
May 2008

THE LOVE BUG

Band: The Beatles
Album: Abbey Road
Discovered: Andrew C. Wendland
July 2003

Barefoot in the PArk

Band: The Beatles
Album: Let it Be
Discovered: Sam Hodgson
January 2015

THE LITTLE MERMAID (1989)

Band: The Beatles
Album: Yellow Submarine Songtrack
Discovered : Andrew C. Wendland
June 2008

Note: This album is not to be confused with the Yellow Submarine soundtrack as that goes with Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Start the album when the classic Disney logo begins to form. If the print uses the modern logo, play the album for 15 seconds, pause, and resume when the clouds fade in after the logo.

THE LION KING (1994)

Band: The Beatles
Album: Let it Be...Naked
Discovered: Andrew C. Wendland
September 2008

Note: In late 2003, the musical number “Morning Report” was restored to the film as a viewing option. This sync only works with the theatrical cut, which has a different Disney logo at the front depending if you have the VHS (the classic blue castle logo) or the 2003 DVD (the black and orange “spotlight” logo usually reserved for live-action films of the era). To compensate, play the album for 20 seconds, pause, and resume when the sunlight first appears in “Circle of Life”.

HERBIE: FULLY LOADED

Band: The Beatles
Album: Love
Discovered: Andrew C. Wendland
December 2006
